Calibration Fault — ABB AZ10
This alarm indicates a failure during zero or span calibration. Follow the sequence below before replacing components.
Recommended Diagnostic Sequence
1) Confirm zero and span calibration gases are available,
correct concentration, and not expired.
2) Verify calibration solenoid valves and tubing are leak-free
and switching correctly.
3) Perform zero calibration and observe sensor response
and stabilization time.
4) Perform span calibration and confirm output matches
expected %O₂ or ppm value.
5) If calibration fails repeatedly, inspect the sensor
for aging or contamination and replace if required.
Technician note:
Most AZ10 calibration faults are caused by poor calibration gas quality,
leaks, or incorrect flow — not electronics.
