Decision Tree: Communication / DCS
Goal:
Restore stable data updates to DCS / PLC
(values, quality, and timing).
1) Confirm analyzer is running
and the last analysis time updates.
2) Verify IP, subnet, gateway,
and physical network link.
3) Confirm protocol settings
match the DCS configuration
(Modbus, OPC, etc.).
4) Check mapping, scaling,
data types, and quality/status mapping.
5) Ensure polling interval
matches the GC cycle time
(avoid timeouts).
