Decision Tree: Temperature / Stability
Goal: stable internal/cabinet temperature.
Thermal drift can shift Wobbe readings.
1) Check cabinet ventilation and ambient temperature (near heaters / steam lines?).
2) Confirm analyzer temperature control is stable (no oscillation).
3) Inspect sensor wiring/connectors for looseness or corrosion.
4) If deviation persists: check heaters, fuses, relays (if equipped).
5) Recheck stability over time; then compare to reference.
Major Troubleshooting
- Slow drift: thermal drift, contamination, moisture influence.
- Sudden step change: sample change, liquid carryover, pressure event.
- Do not calibrate while temperature is unstable.
