Goal: Stabilize carrier supply and remove pressure hunting before changing GC settings.
1) Confirm carrier cylinder pressure and isolation valves are fully open.
2) Check regulator stability (no hunting / oscillation).
3) Leak test carrier line connections and fittings.
4) Verify carrier pressure at analyzer inlet is within spec and stable.
5) Run 2–3 cycles and confirm peaks return and repeatability improves.
