Yokogawa TDLS8000 Gas Analyzer
Analyzer Overview
TDLS8000 scans a tunable laser across a gas absorption line to determine concentration along the optical path. The installed gas channel, path length, pressure and temperature settings must match the application.
Key Features
- In-situ cross-path measurement or a documented flow-cell sampling arrangement, depending on configuration
- Gas species and simultaneous measurements depend on the ordered channels and options
- Analysis-cycle time alone does not establish installed system response
- A path measurement does not by itself demonstrate representative whole-duct composition
Typical Applications
- Combustion gas monitoring
- Emissions and process gas analysis
- Boilers, furnaces, and kilns
- Environmental monitoring
Common Alarms & Troubleshooting
| Alarm | Description | Diagnosis |
|---|---|---|
| Laser Error | Laser emission unstable or not detected | Start Diagnosis |
| No Gas Signal | No valid gas measurement available | Start Diagnosis |
| Calibration Failure | Validation or calibration issue; match the configured method | Start Diagnosis |
| High Drift / Unstable Reading | Reading unstable or drifting beyond limits | Start Diagnosis |
Maintenance & Calibration Notes
- Check laser output and optical alignment
- Maintain sufficient optical transmission; particles, dirty windows and misalignment can reduce it. There is no universal dust-free requirement or particulate threshold here
- Follow configuration-specific validation/calibration instructions, including optical path and purge conditions
- Inspect electronics module periodically
